In-person marketing is the most effective form of marketing that a Faculty Director can do to promote his or her study abroad program.  When done by the Faculty Directors themselves, in-person marketing allows students to connect a faculty member to a specific program, and it allows faculty to have face-to-face conversations with students and leverage the unique aspects of their program for each individual student’s needs. While in-person marketing efforts can be done solely by the Faculty-Director, the Study Abroad Office suggests that Faculty Directors reach out to past participants of the program, other faculty, and academic advisors to reach more students.
